The legend of Captain Robert
Chapter 2
Sailing away from the British navy Robert heard a scream of anguish from the admiral who had tried to capture him. Robert then realized something; he was sailing away from the only port for miles, they had taken all cargo from the ship including the food, he had no crew, and if he didnt hurry the navy would catch up to him.
He opened up the sails to catch the most wind and sailed with no destination. He would sooner jump into a pool of sharks then let them capture him. Soon the navy was out of sight, so Robert sat down and fished off the side of the ship, when he wasnt fishing he was sleeping to conserve energy. Days went by and still no sight of land or food, Robert started thinking about sailing back to Port Alexander, but he had no idea where back was. The days turned to weeks and Robert could barely catch anything and still no sight of land. Eventually Robert thought he was going crazy and decided to sleep in his cabin till he found land.
The next day seemed like a miracle, he had found land. Powered by pure joy he beached his boat on the shore because it was fastest and leaped ashore. It was a tropical place filled with lush greenery. Robert saw panther emerge from the forest edge, but Captain Robert stood his ground, as the panther lunged for him he drew his cutlass and with one quick stroke beheaded the panther. He skinned the panther and ate almost every other part of it. He walked into the jungle panther pelt in hand ready for whatever was inside. Before long he came across a clearing, beyond the clearing he saw Indians dancing around a fire. Hmmm Robert thought to himself maybe theyll think Im a god
worth a shot. Robert put on his panther pelt and strode into the clearing looking as god-like as possible. In short, they didnt. Robert quickly found himself, cutlass in hand, running through a jungle from a mob of angry people with spears. He ran into a canyon that was so skinny two people couldnt walk side by side and an idea came to his head. He turned around and thrust his cutlass into the Indian closest to him, and quickly turned back around as he saw a spear being thrown, Robert turned around again, but this time the closest Indian through his spear at him, Robert leaped backward and pulled out a pistol and shot him in the head. After continuing this for a while the mob had been reduced to a lone Indian, who Robert shot with his last pistol.
Robert took their jewelry and the finest looking spear saying to himself They wont be needing this anymore and left the canyon heading back the way he came. He came back to the clearing where he found the Indians and took their food, which was mainly vegetables, weapons and anything else of any worth. Any Indians he came across he simply ran them through with his cutlass. For awhile he lived in the jungle in search of food and treasure. Once he had gathered enough meat, fruit, vegetables, and whatever treasure was on the island he sailed away on his ship, again with no destination.
